Excerpts Chinese Affairs

For many small and medium-sized Italian companies, more or less extensive relocation of production from their major customers has been a real trauma. For larger ones, a great opportunity.
Many small businesses, providing electronic or components in the automotive, found themselves in front of the blue to the request of their customers to provide control panels, control systems, sophisticated components, no longer in Reggio Emilia, Modena and Bologna, but maybe in Guangzhou, close to their new plant in China, albeit at Chinese prices.
Guanzhou?
These small companies have taken years to become accredited providers of a great brand, and when you were a little relaxing, rewarded for their efforts and their investments, this is invented Guangzhou or Shenzhen, and Foshan, or some other Chinese city by the unpronounceable name, for many probably just dots on a map that they had perhaps never carefully observed. For those who know China, a city with millions of inhabitants.
But the world moves, and many small businesses have had to travel the steps that, if planned, would have been much easier. Then again investment resources yet, still struggling. But just because we are terribly late and we did not notice how fast it runs the world.
